I would NEVER date a white woman. I'm not attracted to them 90% of the time, and even for those who happen to be undeniably pretty to me, I am far too black minded and in love with my people to be attractive to any woman who isn't black when it comes to a long term relationship. The fukk I look like talking with my wife Becky Sue, Kim Lee or Sofia Sanchez about the joke that is white privilege, powerful black history documentaries, the emasculation and destruction of black youth, our views on the newest Spike Lee or Tyler Perry project, or Erykah Badu's new album? The reality is that for interracial relationships to succeed, one of two things has to happen - neither of which I am open to.

1. One of the people has to dumb down or completely eliminate their culture to accommodate the other race or there won't be a lot of moral, cultural, or sentimental common ground. For example, successful interracial couples usually consist of an Uncle/Aunt Tom, white-washed ass negro and a white girl/man, or a super urban, black-minded white boy/girl and a urban, black-minded black boy/girl. Both are rare because people who are in touch, in love, and connected to their people and culture have little interest in dating outside of their race. Let's keep it G, the weak minded who chase after these white girls/boys were just looking for an excuse to stop dating in their race anyway, and that person who beat them or cheated gave it to them. If you truly love your people, your race, you will stay in the game until you find a decent one. Weak.

2. Both people have to have a lack of connection with their race/culture to the point where both are only black/white/asian/hispanic in skin tone and that's it. They are so far removed from their culture that neither would have a problem accodomating one another's personalities and views because they are indoctrinated on being something general like "American" or "Human" rather than Black or Asian. Many black men see white women as some prized possession and many black women see white men in the same light. Often times we are indirectly taught that the opposite sex of the same race is low key the enemy.

My husband was asking me about Scandal and why women seems to be so hyped about Kerry Washington being with a white man. Besides the fact that the casting is amazing and they have actual sexual chemistry, I think it has a lot to do with what you've alluded to.

And while that's not true, because black people overwhelmingly date and marry other black people, it's like everybody got on this 'nobody wants black women train.'

I agree with everything especially the bolded. This campaign has been going on for years now. They do the shyt very subtle so most don't even think about it or notice it but I do.

I have many family members who used to date balck men but switched due to maltreatment. Do they prefer white to black- probably not, but they got tired of not being treated the way they deserved and went to those who would accomodate.

I love black men and doubt I could ever end up marrying a white man but I don't know those who do or believe that "white" = right

I agree with everything but per the bolded- I think it has a lot to do with our nature. We naturally mold or start to conform to whomever we are dating and start to pick up little things from that person. Now, not saying that anyone should change their personality, but I think bw who do this feel like they "cant be themselves" and be taken seriously by the wm. Or they know they will be judged more harshly due to the relationship and thus feel the need to "straighten up".

Nothing I said is outrageous unless you're living in an imaginary world where sellouts don't exist. Or maybe you're one of the sellouts I'm referring to, or maybe you're white and don't acknowledge the war against black beauty and culture that is destroying my people. Regardless, I'm speaking on reality.

I am NOT saying one cannot fall for someone outside of their race. Love is love. What I am saying is that it is disgusting for one to completely REJECT the possibility of a relationship with their own people and seek out people SPECIFICALLY outside of their race. It's self hatred and it's pathetic.

If you have love for your people, date them and just so happen to stumble upon someone outside of your race that you fall for, cool.
