Digital orders fukking the game up

I was at Subway the other day and the woman behind the counter was clearly overwhelmed by all the digital orders she was getting while still having customers in store waiting to be helped.

I was patient with her cause I understand, but some folks was getting angry.

All this shyt is turning on its head now. People keep asking for more money but are these companies willing to pay? Folks out here trying to get paid for flipping burgers the same that a person gets after busting ass in college and accumulating mad debt. It’s going to be interesting to see what happens in a year or two because it’s crazy out here right now. Y’all better learn how to cook because I don’t know how long this current restaurant thing will last like this.

I really wish people would stop sayin' ignorant shyt like this.
Most of the people quitting just want a livable wage.
If the person flipping burgers now makes as much as the person who has a college degree, why is the person who has the college degree mad at the burger flipper, and not the company they work for?

Just being honest. As someone who used to do customer service for way less than 15 an hour like a lot and even worse conditions than that with far less people, i dont feel sorry for these people AT ALL.

No. Its cause im an employer. My costs have gone up every where, which in return makes me charge more. But customers arent always willing to pay more. So in return it hurts business.

Now we get to the meat and potatoes, your an entitled business owner who got used to it being one way, but now it's the other way and you want to bytch and moan about it. American capitalists love the practice until it bites them in the ass.

i'm not a policy maker. it probably makes sense to keep it for disabled/handicapped individuals and the mentally ill for employing personal attendants or buying medications.

Why concentrate on digital orders though? Every time I go past a fast food restaurant and see a gang of Just Eat, Deliveroo & UberEats staff I walk past. They spend too much time on those orders than the people in the store.

This is why I stopped going to Chipotle early on, you'd stand in line for 10mins and then they'd lay a couple receipts on the counter and start making burritos in front of you like you don't exist. That place doesn't hit like it used to, and I hate when I ask my kids what they want and they say Chipotle.

My question is can you get both? Im asking because I'd quit a job if i can get $25 a month rental assistance, utility discounts, food programs, AND get UBI..

A lot of the h0es where I live teach their daughter and sons how to get welfare, so they'll have that shyt when they graduate.. It'll be a game changer if people can get UBI because everything else is already paid for.

How does UBI differ from the welfare system in place now? And what happens to those programs when UBI takes affect?

I'm not going to pretend to be an expert on welfare and SSI disability benefits but I did grow up knowing people that were on it. With welfare your benefits decreased depending on your income and with disability you weren't even allowed to work.

UBI in concept is supposedly different from both of those.
