This is why I ask what the plan is, because the corporations are definitely trying to figure it out without the employee..
Chipotle will probably start having locations without a dining area, completely move to online/mobile orders. I'm sure they did more than well during the pandemic where they experimented with this.

The only issue for them is how they built the vast majority of their locations without this in mind and without a drive through lane. If all the orders are online, they probably would be able to scale even more with smaller locations with a window, less employees needed, and honestly, less stress of dealing with patrons directly all day long. They were ready for the pandemic because they're app was great before it, and they didn't miss a beat when dining in was banned everywhere.

So what these "kids" going to do in the mean time? Either lay in the house being a unproductive bumb, or stay going to school, accumulating more debt doing the college scam?

I have absolutely no problem with a generation going another direction, but I absolutely see nothing beneficial coming out of this for entry level work..

The rich will get even richer while all the other who don’t wanna work will fall by the wayside. All these people can’t get rich from content creation and IG side businesses

Looks like fast food joints will go back to how it was when it was just take out food.. The dine in experience will be gone.. I've even seen kiosk at McDonalds long before the pandemic.

TYRONE GA!
its that with social media, kids dont want to work.

I do buy this.

But at the same time, the model has changed and you have to adjust.

You are not entitled to have a successful business. Businesses have been skating by forever in America using low wage operators to make profit. It ain't flying no more as there are more options and people aren't taking those jobs anymore for whatever reason.

No one ever has an answer to this. They just move the goalposts to people needing to make 60k a year to make an assembly line burrito bowl.
