He's not actually. I'm aware of MED's loquacious style and am intelligent enough to understand exactly and completely what he's saying and he's actually just expanding on what he Nas said. Like for example the environment upon where a lyric comes from or who it relates too. Like his brother in prison who fukks wit Nas shyt. That buck that bought a bottle could of struck the lotto is an ill line, cause it's concise, it rhymes and flows well with the multi and it says something more than just the line, saying the money wasting on alcohol and damaging self could be used more productively, even possibly hit the lotto, at least there's a chance, however small it may be, for some hope, rather than just fukk up your liver with NO chance, hope or dreams. Also shows a certain sense of desperation in the thinking and sadness/stagnation in the life being lived. Similar to Pac when he said they got money for wars but can't feed the poor, it's simple but it's effective. MED is a Pac fan no doubt, he has a book about Pac, any good anyone? Been wanting to read that too. It's not true wat your saying though, your letting the Nas hatred blind you. Why do you HATE Nas so much? Like is it that deep? Do you even know him like that? I don't get te excessivness of the hate lol. Anyway, by your theory, what about all the audience members? Regardless of how much you hate Nas, it won't change the facts how he's views and respected, as much as you don't like it or disagree. My opinion is that it's very well deserved artistically, I don't know him personally.
