the qbs job is to execute the playcall that was relayed to him by the coach.
and, qbs job is to actually manage the game and not make mistakes. putting points on the board is a product of everyone on the offense doing their part. the qb, the line, the tes, the wrs and the kicker.

dudes team has a stud at QB and he's talking about arm strength being a negative.
He doesnt like fast players either according to the draft thread bc Fitz ran a 4.6 so its obviously not important.

He does make some sense with what he's saying, and I usually never agree with him. Good OC can make a bad qb look good. I keep saying how underrated coaching is in nfl.

your post makes zero sense. your high school never passing the ball has nothing to do with the artificial notion you have in your head about the qb being the biggest star of the offense.
there is no "way the game should be played". there is a way the game IS played.
like jim harbaugh says, the worst thing a qb can do is to turn the ball over. limiting mistakes is the #1 thing for the qbs. a qb who doesnt limit mistakes will never be a great qb.

lots of small throws that move the chains are just as good as one big play, unless youre running out of time. they tire the defense and a TD after a long drive just murders the opposing defense
