:gucci:

Are you looking only in one geographical area?
Yep you are fukking up! I see many Information systems people in enterprise IT eating and not working that hard. Go learn SAP in a small consulting company. You will travel in the beginning but will eat.

More propaganda to widen the wealth gap :mjlol:

“Don’t go to college. Go work for the guy who did go to college for the rest of your life and be happy”

Don’t fall for the okey doke. A college degree is still the key to living above average in America. Even if you get a BS degree you can become a public school teacher and retire making 6 figures if you know what you’re doing.

College has never been made for everyone but neither are trades or service jobs.

Thank you. The path of least resistance to making a comfortable middle class living is through higher education.

. I’m in my 40s and I guarantee you, I can make a chart of my social circle based on education/salary/wealth and almost all will fall in rank based on their education level.

I have child good friends who range from VPs at companies making $250K plus and friends who are brick layers and waiters (in their 40s) barely making a living and everything in between.

I know this is anecdotal, but I presented statistics that show college educated people regardless of majors, earn on average One million more over a lifetime, than their counterparts who are not college educated. The unemployment rates are also much lower for college educated workers.

But it’s your choice. Like I tell my younger family members, make your choice, but make it wisely.

Prices have to drop first

If they don't these institutions will shut down to the lack of numbers. Women alone cannot support the enrollees of major campuses, cause that will financially cause it to collapse.

Y’all gotta learn to separate macro goals from micro needs. I believe in universal healthcare, but that doesn’t mean I’m going to forgo my private health insurance out of frustration. Who raised you nikkas?

Look at 2008. That same bubble burst will happen to college campuses. Being stubborn to financial adjustments will mean a more violable outburst. These banks gotta crumble.

Then MEN in general will tap out of religious institutions, out of colleges, and out of marriages. Higher prices doesnt mean men will adjust to hyperinflated nonsense, they simply tap out of it altogether.

Humanity isn't built to tolerate injustice, of any kind for extended periods of time,

I think that the cost is deterring people because this is common knowledge. I think a lot of people took out exorbitant loans and don’t see any light at the end of the tunnel and so this college isn’t worth it myth is out there. It’s too costly and should be cheaper and government should do something but this pandemic was all the evidence you needed. Who were the people working from home and who were the people out on the frontlines? Who were the people losing their jobs and who was okay? It was disproportionately people working jobs that couldn’t be done remotely getting laid off and being deemed essential, which were for the most part, jobs that don’t require a college degree. If you’re want to work a trade and you have a talent for it, go ahead. But college opens up way more career paths - for one it’s a prerequisite for any sort of graduate study and usually for upper management positions. At some point your back won’t work the same and you don’t want to be packaging boxes at FedEx or Amazon forever.

People becoming anti-education is sickening. :scust:

Got people thinking "Oh, you can just make it your own way. Join a trade. Learn to code" when their bosses have gone to 2 and 4 year schools.

Statistically there's nothing to show right now that your financial situation is better off without higher education especially for black people. We need the credibility boost more than anyone else.

I have two bachelors (Marketing & Accounting) and an MBA (Healthcare Management)

I don't get to where I am without these. They place glass ceilings on you for not checking those boxes and being a black male, sheeeeit, lol, you know I have to come correct. I am a controller (accounting) in a healthcare company. That MBA opens doors that wouldn't have opened to me in the past. I have a path straight to being the next CFO once she retires in a few years. In my eyes, my salary justifies the means easily.

When Millennials went to college, they didn't see the previous generation get completely fukked. Generation Z saw that. The goal posts changed to you have to have a stem major after Millennials got their degree.

Now STEM majors are getting low balled and struggling to pay the loans back 10+ years later.

I think one thing that gets overlooked is how men are socialized and the lack of male comradery.

I know with black men sometimes we get caught up in the idea of the scholarly life being "lame" and wanting to live up to the ideals of cool established by the larger culture. Women can have their nose stuck in the book and men will still pursue but men sometimes get boxed in trying to appeal to females in that 18-25 range and lose sight of the bigger picture. I've had black men tell me straight up they joined a gang to get p*ssy. It's more of a problem with men from working poor families, kids whose parents are firmly middle class and college graduates usually have the resources and guidance that gets their kid through college. I knew black, white, latino & asian dudes who grew up with single moms or divorced parents and none of them dudes went to college outta HS. They weren't ready. Some of them are just now going back in their late 20's/early 30s

ALSO men need to get a sense of comradery again. It's not a problem for all men but too many American men are on some :dame:shyt in regards to male friendship. I peeped that women have better support systems for each other and make sure they are on point in regards to education. Even having study groups and what not. Too many men want to be on some lone wolf shyt and try to do everything by themselves. Life don't work like that. That's why I don't get when red pill dudes say women hate each other and back stab each other, bruh it feels like men hate each other more than women do. Maybe its because of bytch tendencies as a result of lack of fathers + internalized misandry
