He didn't pass the Bar exam what is there to talk about? No shyt his degree is useless if he didn't pass the Bar :russ:. My boy just graduated from law school last year and he's eating good, so is everyone else from his class :manny:. All this complaining about lawyers not being able to find jobs I don't see it. If dudes like these are the ones doing the complaining it explains a lot tho :yeshrug:

Granted i dont know much about practicing law but from what i can see from friends who finished law school unless you graduate from a prestigious school and get put on with a good firm to get your feet wet you gotta hustle your way up. A couple of folks i know just went to work in a corporations legal department and called it a day.

If you go to a shytty school and dont have any connections its gonna be rough.

Working for yourself or "hanging a shingle" requires money and connections, why would you call the local guy who doesn't have an office and graduated last in his class instead of the T-14 grad w/ the Rolodex of connections, the city law firm that's been reputable for over a century, or one of the BigLaw firms in the area that win a few dozen cases every day?

I know people who didnt go to top tier law schools and they are doing fine in their own practices without massive student loans. Immigration, criminal, real estate and personal injury attorneys.

Top schools don't neccesarily mean the best attorneys from what I've experienced.

I'm going to call the attorney who has the best paralegal.

That'll probably be the guy who went to a top law school.
Knowing someone who "is doing well without going to a top law school" is exactly how the bottom-feeder law schools like Cooley and Thomas Jefferson get enrollment every year.
It's far more likely that if you don't go to a top law school that you'll end up working for 60k a year paying back 150k in loans at a job that will drive you to alcoholism.

Judge-did you complete the courses and pass the bar?

Judge-you can't be a lawyer without passing the bar. I find in favor of the defendant. Case closed.

Another dummy who thought going to college was going to assure him a job.
Only skimmed through but i highly doubt the school gave him any paperwork guaranteeing him employment plus he didn't even pass the bar exam :comeon:

More people need to look into taking up a trade instead of thinking college is gonna guarantee them a good job

How the fukk else are people supposed to become lawyers? :comeon:
