no hate for LA folks because yall city is amazing. but if i wasn't a brooklyn nikka and had to choose different soil i'd probably pick the bay

oakland or vallejo (40 water stanley) specifically because the bay is poppin for real. home of black panthers, pimps and fat asses everywhere you look

plus yall slang, rappers, dance moves and fashion choices are what's hood to me. pac would have been a problem regardless if he stayed in b-more but yall gave him the game to be a global & cultural icon. facts

I been to LA, the Bay, and Sac in limited moments :ehh: still gathered the difference.

LA: Venice Beach is weird and entertaining as fukk :heh:

The Bay: San Francisco's layout is way different than anything I seen. Extremely scenic. I rode the trains from there to San Jose. shyt felt like somebody replaced all the hispanics I'm used to seeing with Asians :wtf:

Sac: Gotta be the most boring shyt I've seen. Somebody kept telling about all the trees like I fukkin care :what:

U from texas so doesnt suprise me u been to all 3.

Every person who been to sacramento says its wack

when people think California they think both nor cal and so cal the same

But really so cal and nor cal completely diff places

La

Weather
Weed
Gangbanging
Women who are fine
Bad traffic
Larger Hispanic presence
A lot to do and see

Bay Area

Hustlers and pimping
Weather not great
It’s extremely high rent
More of a black presence
More of a Asian presence
Buildings and hills
Slang is diff
Thicker women

Better food

La

They got roscoe. And soul food spots.

Better job opportunities

La they got a few black owned stores in compton.

Sacramento also completely diff from both places.

Folks get cali twisted

More of a black presence in the Bay? What exactly do you mean?

How much of an impact do you Bay nikkas feel the Raiders move will have on people leaving the Bay?

Almost everybody I talk to in Vegas has moved there from LA or the Bay

You have to remember LA has a lot larger population than the Bay. There are 3 times as many Black people in LA County than the Bay.

But if you are actually in LA county you'll realize once you leave West LA/South LA there aint a lot of black people there. Hell Cali period felt like there wasn't a lot of black people when compared to where I'm from. My wife said she was shocked when she moved here cause she said she saw black people everywhere. Even on the 'white' sides of town you still see a lot of black people. In Cali black folks live in like one of 3 cities: LA, Long Beach, and Oakland other than that there aint a lot of blacks there.

Cali’s Black population peaked in the 1970’s and was HEAVILY concentrated. Bay Area had majority Black cities if I’m not mistaken, Black LA was 20% of the population and covered a HUGE area and wasn’t fragmented like it is now. Folks from out of state who grew up seeing movies and heard stuff about Cali now visiting in the 2000’s and 2010’s don’t understand how rapidly things changed from the 80’s to present.

Hows San Diego Compared to LA
San Diego’s a much slower pace IMO.

I really wanna know

nikkas don't really gangbang in an L.A. sense in the Bay. nikkas rep their hoods and banging in the Bay is more known as mobbin (I.e. Mob music). Cali hood politics is the same all over, just no B's or C's involved in the Bay. For instance, non-Cali folks don't realize is the "set" is literally your neighborhood, not your gang. :snoop:But don't get it fukked up, nikkas have been killed over what turf they from since the 70's in the Bay.:whoa: nikkas in the Bay was definitely getting Ricky'd just for being outside at the wrong time based on where their momma or grandmomma lived just like L.A. :demonic:Turf rivalries often (i.e. Sunnydale vs. Lakeview in SF) go back for decades. You also had different sets forming and funking in the same hoods (i.e. Uptown vs. Downtown in Fillmoe, SF and West Mob vs. Big Block in Hunter's Point, SF). But unlike L.A., nikkas in the hood ain't recruiting nikkas in the hood to bang the hood and there's no colors involved or getting jumped in. The only color that really matter in Bay Area hoods is green. If it don't make dollars, it don't make sense. And Bay nikkas never saw a profit in banging B or C. :shaq2:And that color blindness often extends to race in the Bay Area hoods as well. Also, the Bay has always had a revolutionary independent thinking mindset. :lawd:
