That’s why their societies are the safest in the world. You need to be tough on drugs and drug users

You know places like Portugal and Amsterdam decriminalized many drugs, yet they don't have a high rate of crime. Hitting the hammer on junkies doesn't always work.

America is a rebellious society at baseline so we look at these things as abnormal or unfair but Singapore governs in a way that works for them and if you break the rules you know what will happen.

Lmao except it DOESN'T. This is the same tired bullshyt folks said about Iraq and North Korea, meanwhile the people actually aren't all that happy and live in fear 24/7. Matter of fact, it's similar to the rhetoric that fueled Jim Crow era American laws.

This seems extremely hyperbolic. How is Singapore anything like authoritative dictatorships or Jim Crow? Western governments have a myriad of social and justice issues as well so how can you sit there and say Singapore is problematic and worse than say where ever you live? Have you ever lived in Singapore? Do they not apply their laws across the board? Do some people get punished more harshly than others?

Michael Peter Fay is an American who was sentenced to six strokes of the cane in Singapore in 1994 for theft and vandalising 18 cars over a ten-day period in September 1993, which caused a temporary strain in relations between Singapore and the United States.

thought his white privilege was gonna help him. But in al fairness you know in certain countries you can't do dumb shyt its just being logical. you know that doing drugs in asian and arab countries will fukk you up just don't do it simple

People really shytting on Singapore as a country though? They're like usually top ranked in everything. Their weedd law is outdated, much like pretty much damn near all countries outside of Europe and some states here. They got some bomb ass street food.
