Isnt this based on a book? They are obviously gonna depict the character the way he is in the book.

Dont see a problem here

Miracle at St. Anna was trash.... Nothing happened in that movie, i don't even know if it was WW1 or WW2. But that movie came across as disrespectful. It promoted the soldiers as pathetic and bickering at one and another while behind enemy lines and the Nazi's could attack at any moment. That was the whole movie:dwillhuh: that was some bytch shyt:mjtf:. There is one shootout at the end and they lose it, so they were bunch of losers too:stopitslime:

This McBride dude is a c00n i figured him out after that movie. Black people had success fighting in WW1 and WW2 and he choose to promote us as weak and incompetent. We have no media that tells of the exploits of black soldiers during WW1 and WW2. Mcbride could have been an icon instead he choose to be a c00n.

My mom and I had huge debates about how Hollywood portrays us by making up fictional characters.. mainly around the Harriet Tubman movie. Her usual response is that certain things didn't happen it Tubman's story but it did happen so it's okay to put in the movie :unimpressed:

So I sent her this story as further proof and this is the response I get back:

"What's the story line? Is the character dressed as girl for safety to keep from being caught and stay alive or are they just using the gay narrative? To me that makes a difference. Even though it may be fictional I am sure there were instances a person disguised their appearance to keep alive!!!"

:snoop: Love my mom, but we can't rely on black folks of a certain age to be the voice on these matters. Unfortunately those are the people who have the money and resources to tell our story's at moment. So we'll have to put up with such things. Until the next generation is in control of our narrative.

Women always Julez for gays for some reason

The ONE good white man to walk this countryside and you portray him in film like this?

and not only that...just totally forget about the actual black men that fought and died courageously for freedom, the disrespect

I'm so upset right now... I gotta find away to leave this country. I'm sick of this

All of this right here.
