A-trak on Drake's 'IYRTITL. "It reminded me of Mobb Deep’s 'Hell on Earth."

IYRTITL and Documentary 2/2.5 are my albums of the year. if 6 god got taken off i wouldnt skip a single track

I used to watch all the DMC vids, Kodh, A-trak...etc.
That shyt is an afterthought to me now, breh. This changed everything.

Last thing I was thinking about when I was listening to that Drake album was Hell On Earth. Explain the similarities.

It sounds crazy until you think about it. I've been trying to figure out why I like IYRTITL so much, and the Hell On Earth comparison, as least as far as its production goes, kinda makes sense.

Hell on Earth is a lot more cinematic though. It isn't as hollow as Drake's album.

There are a lot of violins, piano loops, percussion and generally...just more ambience. Pacing is a lot slower too. I understand i guess WHY A-Trak would make that comparison but as a Mobb Deep stan it just doesnt sit right.

Hell on Earth is....Hell on earth. If You're Reading This Its Too Late is a rainy day in comparison.
There is nothing similar to Animal Instinct, Nighttime Vultures, Still Shinin, Apostle's Warning, Hell On Earth, God Pt 3 etc. Just way more cinematic and strings are everywhere.

More Trife Life is similar to the beats on Drake's album though.

The last thing I'm thinking about when I'm listening to that Drake album is This sounds like Hell on Earth 2 - so it's pretty crazy to hear someone compare the two.
