Turntablism was also kinda given up to asians and white brehs after cooler shyt was discovered...plus it's very expensive.
I used to watch all the DMC vids, Kodh, A-trak...etc.
That shyt is an afterthought to me now, breh. This changed everything.
The brehski @mobbinfms having chest pains after reading the title
Production was very dark when I first heard the album. Some of the tracks gave me the HellOnEarth vibe.

Damn, i love 6 man. But thats the beauty of music, we can all appreciate different songsI love 6 God, 6 Man is garbage to me.
Before anyone just jumps to conclusions, go listen to the energy beat then he'll on earth
I can see what he meant by that
Hell on Earth is a lot more cinematic though. It isn't as hollow as Drake's album. It sounds crazy until you think about it. I've been trying to figure out why I like IYRTITL so much, and the Hell On Earth comparison, as least as far as its production goes, kinda makes sense.![]()
The last thing I'm thinking about when I'm listening to that Drake album is This sounds like Hell on Earth 2 - so it's pretty crazy to hear someone compare the two.ahh my fav mobb deep album. i dont see whats so offensive/outrageous about what he said here. its like dudes get upset about anything drake related.
Which songs sound like which songs? What are the similar elements used? Production techniques? Sample sources? Anything? It sounds crazy until you think about it. lol that track is fire...cant lie. the bassline does it for meDamn, i love 6 man. But thats the beauty of music, we can all appreciate different songs![]()
Nope. Not at all. I would describe the beats on Drakes album as plodding and boring. That album is a real chore to listen to. Hell on Earth is wall to wall classic production. I didn't find the Drake album dark either.@mobbins As a fellow Mobb Deep fanatic, you can hear the similarities between the production on IYRTITL and Hell On Earth, right? It's not one-to-one, obviously, but they're both sparse, dark, with really short loops and sharp snares.
This could fit right in the first half of IYRTITL
First 5 Tracks on the album are basically reworks of this
these dudes are insulting Hell on EarthNope. Not at all. I would describe the beats on Drakes album as plodding and boring. That album is a real chore to listen to. Hell on Earth is wall to wall classic production. I didn't find the Drake album dark either.
