I think another interesting trend is that since 1999, no regular-season MVP has won the SB. 9 have made it, and they are only 25-22 overall in the postseason.
MVP usually goes to the QB who puts up the best #s, but good numbers may also be a sign that the team is way too dependent on that player. Or at least that having the "best" QB in any given year normally isn't enough for a SB.
