Stop it. The Lakers, for better or worse, were HUGE draws when they were competitive. Yall used to complain about the Lakers bandwagon for over a decade for that very reason.
Even from '05-'07 the Lakers weren't shyt but they were sitting there on Christmas Day every year. There's only one constant.
As for this season, who knows. I'll take a guess that Durant probably had something to do with it along with negative press about resting. I expect 2017's playoff ratings to be where last year's were.

This season just wasn't interested outside Russ bullshyt triple double record. Lots of bad and underwhelming teams, especially in the east. Top teams dealing with injuries all year
