Let's be honest, not all HBCU's are created equal. Some of them have some real fukked up issues. I think Morris Brown was still around briefly when I started school. When I finished it was done.![]()
Morris Brown was a joke. On one hand I got love for them cuz they gave me a chance when nobody else would. I got into MB with a GED and a pretty decent sized juvenile arrest jacket. Didn't even go HS past the middle of my 11th grade year. Just had a really high ACT score and a few letters from alumni and local civic people. I wasn't even 6 months out of boot camp before I started there. No way in hell a PWI or a higher tier HBCU would've even looked at my application. Let alone accepted me. But even with all that MB was complete trash. The dorms were horrible, some didn't even have central air. The meal plans were beyond a joke. The Twin Towers on Mitchell St was basically a trap. Teachers could've cares less and and the books and computers was all outdated. When they lost their accreditation I went to Atlanta Metropolitan College around the corner. AMC was juco back then and they had nicer books, labs, computers, cafeteria, and the teachers actually gave a fukk. nikkas can say what they want but there is no fukking reason a juco that costs a fraction of the price as a 4 year school has better everything across the board.

...I am a very proud HBCU graduate, but my school cafeteria was TRASH...I suffered through that slop for 4 years straight...in my senior year, that sorry ass cafe finally got a

i thought it was a little over the top but i

. At least you had professors who stuck to just teaching. My professors were activist as Fukk. They were liberal so I was cool with it, But my black professors ( all but one were male), use to go in with the feminism. Made me feel bad to be a man
