He literally can just run and dunk on everybody like Giannis. Because Ben is strong as shyt, has handle and decent footwork. He can get 15-20 shot attempts off of dunks and layups. He’s going to get fouled of course but shyt, split the free throws and KIM like he’s been doing all this time. He clearly doesn’t give af and is just coasting.

I agree with Gilbert Arenas. Take more shots or sit your ass on the bench. I understand Simmons has value besides shooting but you cannot willfully shut down that part of your game. It essentially makes your offense 4 vs 5.

This is where I’m at with it now. I probably went too far slandering him on this board. It’s clearly some mental & physical things going on but mostly mental imo. Hope the young breh puts in work and sees a psychologist.

Every offseason simmons posts footage of him working on his game and playing with other players in LA. Before sixers games even he is putting up jumpers and making a lot of them
also what does working on your game have to do with putting up shots. I'm an A.I stan but that never stopped him from gunning. It's obviously something bigger than him being lazy. It's Fultz 2.0 but for whatever reason no one is talking about that possibility and going with the lazy narrative that he's fukking models and going to clubs like 99% of the nba doesn't do the same thing

I'm not excusing it, but there's obviously something going on with him that needs to be addressed that's more than just yips or him being scared to shoot. There is a summer league video floating around of him actually shooting jumpers at one point and time, so obviously it's something he can do.
Figure out why he won't, which is supposed to be the job of the news media.
That's why I wish the media would actually do their job and figure out why instead of slandering him with speculation and heresay. If they figured it out with Fultz, then they can obviously do the same with Simmons if they put in the work to figure out why.
