People can talk about it being the "toughest title ever" all they want, but to not hear the thousands of fans in the stands cheering because you won the title, it has to feel somewhat of a letdown.

I've heard more noise from a table tennis championship.

And if you play for the Lakers, their fans are all over, so you'd hear cheers if you won at home or on the road with a full arena

Unless the pick they get turns out to be a superstar I don't really see them as anything more than a treadmill team. Young is a losing player. AD is more injury prone then ever. So they ain't getting shyt back for them in trades. Worst case scenario is they get locked into extensions for either one of them. The other young players they have aren't special at all and all they've known is tanking in the absolute worst possible way. Not sure you can just flip a switch and suddenly be a good team with such a shytty losing culture they've developed.

Next year Tatum will be back with a full pre-season under his belt, Detroit can only get better, Pacers are going to be back in the mix, Magic will probably be better with a new coach, Hawks are on the come up, Knicks and Cavs are probably going to be businesss as usual, so I don't really see a massive leap for the Wizards.

I see kobe stans still crashing out in this thread i see, their hero rode shaq coatails to three free rings, they formed a super team with gasol the unsung hero of the championship run and was an albatross on the lakers in the final years in the nba , the lakers were an absolute joke and the bottom of their conference with no its playoffs hope, AD and lebron sign and turn the franchise around, its just bitterness, kobe is not top 10 all time, one regular season mvp in 20 years, he is about to get surpass in MVP by shai this year already and with another FMVP we are going to start some tough conversations thats why they are bitter
