The players aren't good enough for parity to occur. It is what it is.

What IS a problem is when some teams inherently can't compete and you have dikkheads like John Salley who ONLY want certain teams to be great. I don't need certain teams to be good. If the Warriors have shown us anything it's that if you build it they will dikkride.

Lebron James has pretty much spent his entire career running over and pushing defenders out the way
LeBron is probably the worst comparison to use out of any superstar lol. That dude hasn't gotten superstar calls in YEARS. You coulda used Jordan, Curry, Nash, someone that made alot more sense than LeBron

Bismack getting called for a foul on a CLEAN block just because the dude he blocked is named LeBron...SCUST
ignore Draymond basically hopping on LeBron's back in game 1 when he was going back up for a tip in brehs. Refs are just ass period in NBA, although they do more calls based on the team in charge over just individuals. There was back and forth ticky tack calls in that Cleveland-Toronto series tho

The nhl and mlb have much greater parity then the nba and they aren't a knockout playoff system.

Baseball and hockey are compartmentalized the way football is. Pitching and hitting. Scoring and goal tending. A good bullpen or goalie can prevent losing or good scoring can keep you in games. Basketball can rely on 1 or 2 men to make a difference on both ends of the court. Tom Brady can't go play linebacker,Albert pujols can't go pitch, and Danny Salazar can't got bat in runs.

Basketballs parity issues come from bad coaching and lazy management honestly. You don't need superstar talent, you just need talented people who are motivated with a game plan. Lebron is a once in a generation superstar and we've seen him get locked up by 6th men off the bench. The fast pace of basketball gives people with superstar talent more opportunities to use it

The only thing that stops the NBA from being more competitive is greed.

From the bottom to the top, the league will be so much better with just 22 to 24 teams.

Check out @jadande's Tweet:

Stupid argument from an idiot.

If that's the case what's the point off the other teams then.

I understand why the NFL have their shiit set up this way.

But to me the NBA if they had the balls and vision, would revolutionize pro sports in this country.

Why should parity be the NBA's goal? Because the NFL loves to honeydikk fans into thinking their team has a shot every year, just so they can rip them off? fukk parity. I like to watch greatness.

And for the most part the best teams win the NBA Championship. The same can't be said for any other team sport in America.

The NFL is one big clusterfukk guessing game the whole time that hypes most idiot fans into thinking they have a shot when they clearly don't.

:yeshrug:
This. Most teams are bad every year and unless you have a superstar quarterback then you haven't got a chance anyway. The NFL has only had the illusion of parity. The Giants, Patriots, 49ers, steelers, and Cowboys have won a combined 24 of the 50 Super Bowls, and many have met each other in the conference championship game or super bowl a ton. The Giants and pats met in 2 Super Bowls, the 49ers and Cowboys have played in I think 4 NFC championship games, the Giants and 49ers have met in 2-3, Pittsburgh and New England have met in 2 afc title games, and Dallas and Pittsburgh have met in 3 Super Bowls. The league has never actually had parity, just an illusion of it and their old format of just playing on 1-2 days out of the week to keep fans hooked.

I'd much rather have my team mire in mediocrity while hoping every year we acquire a generational talent :troll:
