I never believed in the concept of amateur drafts, Max contracts and salary caps.

If the Cavs want to sign a 17 year old lebron from his living room to 45 million a year they should be able to do that:ehh:

I agree, that's capitalism at work, but at the same time, without said draft, bad teams probably never get better, never establish themselves, never build any real support, and as a result, never really make any money and might fold. The college draft might be a necessary evil. Any ideas on what could realistically replace it so that the bad teams have a chance to improve still?

I mean it's not like he's lying.

One player has a much bigger impact in basketball than in any other sport. You can get a hard cap & non-guaranteed contracts and the result will be the same. The teams with the LeBrons, Currys and Durants of the world will be at the top. Nature of the game.

There's a reason why there's only one team in the last 25 years who won a title that didn't have a current, former or future MVP in their starting lineup
Which team was that

There is more parity in the MLB than NBA but teams with a high payrolls usually tend to win the World Series.

If the refs were consistent you could...

...They have too much power in dictating who wins...

This here

The Spurs has gotten away with illegal screens and blocking fouls for almost 2 decades.

Why should parity be the NBA's goal? Because the NFL loves to honeydikk fans into thinking their team has a shot every year, just so they can rip them off?
. Their teams do have a shot every year.

And for the most part the best teams win the NBA Championship. The same can't be said for any other team sport in America.
It can be said for the other team sports. If you win the title, you are the best.

I think the whole, superstar driven league, is code word.

...what the fukk is a "superstar" call?

that shyt should be even throughout, yet we've grown accustomed to it, and we except it like shyt aint rigged...

I've seen it too many times where refs are controlling the flow of the game...and it goes different based on how they call it... it shouldn't be like that..

You can't be serious :mjlol:

This dude spent the entire detriot series shoving and running over Stanley Johnson and I think he got called for 1 or 2 offensive fouls:mjlol:

Dude can't dribble longer than 5 seconds without traveling...:mjlol:
Let me ask you a question, on LeBron's third shot attempt/lay up in the first quarter of G1 GSW, when he went to the rim and Bogut fell down, do you consider THAT an offensive foul? Like if your feet aren't set, that's a blocking foul every time. Unless Stanley was set up for a charge and didn't get the call or LeBron extended with the forearm, there's no problem here.

And traveling in the way you're considering it is rarely called. Like if you're dribbling up the court and you take a small pause and continue, that shyt isn't called on anyone. I've seen that happen so many times and never get called. That's not a super star call, that's something that doesn't get called for the sake of the flow of the game.

its pretty shameful. NBA is the most obviously rigged league, but that's because they know that any time you bring up "rigged" or "refs", shyt'll be looked at as an excuse
