Your owner cheap. If Gilbert can pay over 50 million in luxury tax then your owner could've done the same instead of giving Harden and Reggie Jackson away for trash.
Yeah, the Thunder can probably go for a billion on the market if they keep going to the playoffs year after year.Exactly. It's amazing to me that some of these clown owners don't understand that you might have to lose money in order to make money. Not like the value of the franchise isn't always going up. The problem is them wanting to eat both ways.
There won't be 6 or 7 year deals because there's a risk to the owners that someone could fall off like Bynum after they get paid and stop trying. What they will do to restrict movement is aim for a franchise tag.Because he didn't know what his role was. Presumably he figured "a max salary = a boost in my role" because who pays max money for a 6th man? Brooks was never gonna switch his role til Harden figured it out on D (he never has)
The lockout won't be about restricting player movement. If that were the case we'd still be seeing 6 and 7 year deals
He wasn't willing to lose money for a championship not knowing the residual gains that comes with winning a championship is far greater than a few years of taking a loss.Exactly. Outside of Livingston and iggy and sometime LB our bench wasn't that good. This acquisition is gonna mess up the whole warriors team
watch what happens
their main thing was their chemistry and selflessness
and they were deep with talent
they have no bench either
Franchise tags don't work. They don't restrict player movement. They restrict the player from getting a long term deal. That's why NFL players hate it. If the NBA had it, Kevin Durant would still be a Warrior. It would have cost the Dubs 2 firsts but you'd still gladly pay that for KD and OKC would still be out of luck (and OKC wouldn't have given KD that tag since Westbrook woulda been more likely to bounce)There won't be 6 or 7 year deals because there's a risk to the owners that someone could fall off like Bynum after they get paid and stop trying. I agree, unfortunately you're going to start hearing about the owners demanding it before next summer.Franchise tags don't work. They don't restrict player movement. The franchise tag isn't the key to keeping a player around. It's the key to making a player really not wanna stay
Teams wasn't beating the door down to sign Festus. I don't think it's a Warriors fan on the planet that would rather have Festus over Damian Jones and most fans have never seen Jones play.
David West is an upgrade over Speights. McCaw is an upgrade over Rush. We kept Clark and McAdoo.

That's a cac thing to say. You wouldn't be mad at the league fixing games?oh yea and the fix might be in and i cant be mad. which i thought id never say.
