I dont understand why one extreme is better than the other...unless you're a casual.I remember when teams used to hate watching Mike Fratello coached Cavs teams because they would rarely crack 85+ points. Games were ending with 77-72 scores![]()
Yeah, I hope the league finds a better balance. I don't wanna see teams allowed to play defense like the Cavs did on Curry in the Finals where they were grabbing and hip checking every time he was off ball. I also don't want to see every instance of minor contact called a foul either.I dont understand why one extreme is better than the other...unless you're a casual.
IMO 140+ point games where kids that weren't even scorers in college are putting up video game numbers are just as trash as Alvin Williams outdueling Kenny Anderson in a 87-79 Eastern Conference slugfest.
The biggest difference is in the minutes per game in fact.
We just gonna act like that wasn't about Harden's traveling?![]()

Breh the league is shown in over 200 countries. Basketball is the 2nd biggest global sport in the world behind soccer. The NBA is the biggest, richest, and most powerful basketball league on the face of the earth. Their earnings have skyrocketed over the past decade. Now they're going pro-scoring to try to garnish even more appeal. The old baseball adage was "chicks dig the long ball"= scoring. While baseball turned their backs on their stars and shut their shyt down the NFL and NBA embraced it and flourished. You sound like a robot/Spock on some "this is illogical" type shyt. Just put two and two together. How does this make the game grow?
The game is not more popular than its ever been
Is there proof of this?
