NBA Commissioner Adam Silver announced Tuesday that Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling has been suspended for life from the Los Angeles Clippers and the NBA. He may not attend games, practices, or Clippers facilities. He may also not attend Board of Governors meetings. Sterling is fined an amount of $2.5 million, which will be donated to organizations promoting anti-discrimination. Silver will urge the Board of Governors to force a sale of the team.

That old ass racist has been way too quiet during this fiasco,

He is gearing to sue the NBA....

Knowing this guys temperament, he is not selling shyt unless it is for 1.5 billion. (No one is paying that)

They basically took away his property rights based on something he said.

added to it the circumstances of how his bigotry came to light (his mistress seeking revenge)

The fukkery that will ensue during this lawsuit :banderas:

None of this matters. The NBA by-laws are set such that all matters must be solved through arbitration. Even if he tried to sue the judge would have to toss it back into arbitration. Problem for sterling is in arbitration everything is admissible, even circumstantial evidence.

Either way he will sue because his lawyers are getting paid by the hour and don't give a fukk. More of his money in their pocket.

Get that racist out of here.

:camby:

Go to yahoo and feast on racist tears. Their outrage reminds me of Obama's election.

I will say that this event brings several things to light for me:

1. The best way to attack a racist figure is to go after the endorsements. At the end of the day just remember this became about the money.

2. The NAACP does not serve the best interests of black people. They serve the interests of the highest donors. Once again it's about the money.

3. When somebody says it's not about the money, it's about the money.

4. Wealth creation is the true path from the worst form of racism, economic racism. Whether that's through homeownership, business ownership, reduction of debt or sound investments, having wealth creation disassociates our involvement from scum like this. Having said that It would be nice to see more former players come together in the form of investment groups to purchase a team.
