He been line steppin
Hurt feelings don’t mean I’m line stepping. Countless black people, including myself have been
you constantly deride black people from a general and pathological sense.

You wish the best for black people, you wish to suplicate your ego talking down on the black race as a whole.

And even the demos of the black race that struggle, you dont bring a plan, you arent talking to people.

You talk like people want to be talk in their situations if educated on all the options.

Why would I engage with that beyond name calling.

I call it what it is, you are on a long list of anti black "blacks" that exist in this world.

black in quotes, because I really dont know who you are.
I call out bad behavior when I see it. I’ve made many threads highlighting degenerate behavior from white people. Do I care when they do it? Not really, because I don’t care about their future. Myself, and countless other black people have been clowned for speaking well, studying, and being interested in things unrelated to hip hop, and urban culture. Black kids are being clowned for getting good grades. It’s a fact. Expanding your horizons will get you called a c00n.

And like I’ve said, black educators have posted on here about what’s happening in their schools. Parental involvement is not high.

I used to have the same skewed viewpoint, till I saw the bigger picture.

I speak from a Caribbean perspective.

We didnt have to continue to live with our oppressors
:yeshrug: . Once I saw that viewpoint, it was clear ADOS/FBA lived with and continue to live with a level of trauma I can't relate to.

I give props and refuse to speak down on anyone.

Immigrants come to America with a different mindset, but everything most think they seeing is not as black and white (no pun intended) as it seems.
I don't like to make excuses for Black people but this is one hell of a burden to carry.

this is an undertold point

That's really the real situation, only the top of the top are allowed to immigrate here conventionally so of course they will have a leg up. Look at groups who were brought in as refugees like the Hmong or Veitnamese population. They get lumped in with all Asians but it isn't close to the same success rate.

Sometimes…
:patrice:
You consider taking the bait for the sake of discussion. Then you realize, it’s not worth it. I’ll sit this one out.
:martin:

Yeah there is a fine line between points that are worth a back and forth and others that are so numbskullish you wonder "Is this worth my afternoon :unimpressed:"...even the original thread the second post is in the latter :skip:

Doesn't really match up because the US is much more developed and Nigeria passed a law allowing student loans this year. Imagine the numbers of African American students going to school if you had to pay upfront or if cac donors and churches didn't help fund/start many hbcus. Don't be manipulated by his bullshyt propaganda, Black people value education worldwide.

In a country awash in oil money, if you valued education that much, you would have instated student loans decades ago.

Where does this don't value education shyt come from? ADOS/FBA built their own colleges and universities.
No, we didn't. Rich white people donated those HBCUs. Spelman, for instance, was funded by Rockefeller and named after his in-laws who helped in the underground railroad.

Before you keep writing crazy stuff why don't you go an research how many HBCUs that there are. Hint: there are more than just Spelman, Morehouse, Howard and Fisk. There are more than 10. More than 20. More than 40. More than 80. There used to be more than 100. Schools like Lane College and many others were founded by former slaves through their churches.
