Got no issues with everything you propose. I just want to make sure that there's a significant individual financial component of any reparations package as well.

With the future it sounds like we both agree that we're headed towards (automation, AI, etc), it's going to be important for our people to be able to invest in the companies able to produce wealth without human labor. The dividends from those investments will provide income that we're able to help support our families with through the economic transition.

All the programs in the world are all well and good (reviving the Freedman's Bureau is a great idea!), and I'm never going to fight them. But they're still subject to the whims of the electorate - people could decide just a few years in that "we've done enough", and cut funding for those programs.

I think there should be monetary compensation but it shouldn't be in a form of a check.

We should be given a portion of the USA economy as a bond. That all of us will own individually and you can't sell it (since we gotta protect people from themselves) and each fiscal year, you'll receive a lump sum of money and when each ADOS child is born they'll get a bond issued to them. It'll be like getting a social security number. And bonds are guaranteed, governments have to pay them.

That's how Native Americans get their casino money.

Reparations should be settled in an international court instead of the USA. The USA and other slave/colonizer governments should be held accountable by the international community, because if not, like you said, they'll try to weasel their way out of it like they did with the Freedman's Bureau.

Yeah and the thing about bonds if you don't pay, it fukks up the credit rating of the institution. So last time I checked there are like 4.6 million Black immigrants in the USA.

And there like say around 45 million Black people in the USA.

Imagine the USA government issuing this bond to around 40 million of us and then deciding not to pay and the USA economy isn't going to collapse anytime soon and even if the USA stops being the number 1, it's still a lot of money coming through here.

This would greatly increase our wealth in a stable way and give us a life. We can take vacations. We can choose to retire early. We can save up to buy a house. We can buy a car. We can start a business. A bond like this is stability and it is status, since we would be only ones getting it and how we got it would be the story that would be said about us.

Main reason I am against a lump sum because I want 10 generations from now getting reparations and I want a stable growth of wealth.

I don't want us to be like that Dave Chappelle skit and we go crazy cause we got a direct deposit of 10 million and within 20 years, everybody back to where they are started.

This economy is arranged to milk Black folks for everything. Predators are everywhere. So we got to make sure the reparations that we get is sustainable for generations to come.

Say we got the bond plan and got 100,000 every fiscal year.


In ten years we'll have 1 million.

We could take 5 years of our lives and travel the world.

We could choose not to work and be totally fine.


Reparations would be an amazing and I won't be here to see it but I hope the generations after us ball out and enjoy life.
