And 8,000 to catch Emmitt.

Yes, we're all aware that Peterson missed last season.

Emmitt played until 35
Barry until 30.
And Sweetness until 33.

Peterson is 30 right now. And the drop off for running backs hits pretty hard.
Let's revisit this in 2 years and see how he's held up.

In the 80s, QBs weren't as protected by the league back then, guys like Brady would've gotten his bell rung more than enough times.Thats why you got guys like Jim McMahon and Bubby Brister who can't remember who they are or where they live anymore , that was the game back then

If Brady were to release a pass with a LB like LT coming at him from a foot away...he woulda definitely got hammered..just imagine this dude getting attacked by like LT, Reggie White, or Mike Singaltary or Richard Dent

Plus back then WR's were SCARED to run certain routs depending on who was playing D...guys like Ronnie Lott or Steve Atwater wouldve had a lot of these dudes thinking differently

He beat out that gen's best passer in Bledsoe and took over from Bledsoe who was fragile.

I think people used to forget how much of a focused killer Brady used to be and he did not really throw interceptions and damn near was a flawless passer dropping back.
Who was actually way better than Bledsoe, and bledose was arguably the best passer of that Gen, too.

I can't vouch for Brady being decimated To the point of not executing like how you layed out.
