Teachers should be able to throw hands with parents of bad kids... thats all i got
have better and more invovled parents.
That would require more teachers. Nobody wants to do that shyt. Baltimore has had to import teachers from the PhilippinesYou have to go back to smaller classes and schools.
That’s not really a good excuse considering all of our parents had to do this. Bottom line education just isn’t a priority like it used to be. When parents aren’t involved the kids really aren’t gonna give a fukk which trickles down to how they act in school which results in less qualified teachers actually giving a fukk about their job
It's a deep issue. But they shouldn't have had children in the first place then. It's my biggest gripe about trash parents.
a good portion of those children likely weren't conceived as a result of family planning and you're assuming they had options available to them. a lot of these parents just went with the flow.
Let’s be honest tho. Income inequality has always been an issue in the black community. Our grandparents and great grandparents grew up dirt poor. But they knew education was the only way to succeed so they instilled that on their kids. Parents just ain’t willing to make the same sacrifices now and many of them look at their kids as a burdenincome inequality has grown increasingly worse so no it's not the same. when a person doesn't have much money and the cost of living continues to increase, that person will be preoccupied with working more hours with little time to invest in their own educational growth and that of their children.
In addition to that people don't even know what they don't know because poverty is a vicious cycle.

thats not why people are shytty parents.they got to work more than 40 hours a week to keep up with the bills since they don't have living wage and get a good nights sleep. when can they be involved? little to no discretionary money in the household budget likely increases the stress felt by everyone.
