He still shot around 47% for the entire playoffs. Iverson never did that.

:laff: @ you bringing up shot attempts. Iverson shot the ball 28 times a game that season. Other seasons he was averaging 25 shots a game. :wtf:

That's CHUCKING.

When you don't get a ring people get disrespectful

2006 lakers roster shouldve been thrown the bushes, but that squad was still way better than the 2001 sixers. Outiside of running defense, ivo did everything for them guys in 01. And kobes numbers that year was on a first round exit, really makes it insignificant

AI had the DPOY, and the 6th man of the year. Kobe had nothing close to that. He had guys like Luke Walton, Kwame brown, and smush starting.

And again, AI got farther because he was playing in a Trash eastern conference. What part of that don't you understand?

Allen Iverson wasn't a bad shooter he just took too many questionable shots. But to even be his size getting those shots off (in the era of the big two guards with Kobe Vince TMac Ray even Jordan early in his career) was to be admired. From about 98 til about 05 the leagues was Iverson. Yeah Kobe had the rings but Iverson had the love of the fans. Back then i guarantee you it would have been 70% Iverson if u would ask who was better. Kobe shooting 45% percent for his career, Chuck just under 43%, so people can't keep sayiing Iverson couldn't shoot he was just 6'0 160 pounds running arouund just to get a shot off. Kobe's gonna end up with superior numbers and the "purists" are going to shyt on Iverson in a historical sense. Especially all of the player efficiency guru's. But from there rookie year on till about the 05-06 season when Bean averaged 35 (A.I. still was putting up 33 a game, his best season ever just was overshadowed by Kobe's dominance), Allen Iverson was undeniably better than Kobe Bryant in my eyes.
