This would be a hard image sell for a regular RnB artist, but it was mostly dudes liking his music so it didn't matter.

women loved his tunes but I’m biased I was in Florida

He was an R&B singer. They wanted a look that would appeal to women. The same thing happened to George Clinton with Motown and with countless other artists.

50 was also the only rapper who wasn’t a twig or :flabbynsick: since LL

50 had the image of the scary muscular black man white america fears. It was a big reason for his success. White people bought into his image because of his build.

What's the funny is when 50 first came out in 98 he was a lil chubby kid. He only got swole after getting shot up and losing a ton of body fat because he couldn't eat solid foods. The shooting not only boosted his image in terms of street cred but it also led to his body transformation.

Damn that's cold.

I don't care how much money you have people calling you ugly is hurtful.

Not really. Its only hurtful if you aren't real with yourself and comfortable in your own skin. Not everyone is supposed to be beautiful. Some people are ugly. However, at the end of the day, what defines you as a person is what you do not things you can't control like your looks. I'm sure T-Pain is comfortable with his success and wealth and doesn't give a damn is most people find him ugly.

Only people who are insecure and not honest with themselves get hurt by the truth.
