They chose Sheamus over him as Champ and Leader of LON. Both were Big Mistakes immediately. Plus the Zeb thing...Big Mistake immediately as well

When they kept booking Sheamus/Del Rio over and over again, it turned me off to both stars. They both lost their juice and surprisingly Sheamus got some of it back but Del Rio was done. He had to go.
Is this the same spot where Becky and Sasha did some pics with legit neckbeards and could barely contain their scust? :pachaha:
lol Yeah.

Rusev was still over and entertaining with summer and with the LON . He can survive without lana and he loses now unlike del rio who had like god level booking

I agree wit ya, just using Rusev as an example of WWE doing shyt with no logic behind it... putting ADR with Zeb Colter in MexAmerica is the best example tho

According to The Wrestling Observer, Alberto Del Rio became unhappy in WWE as he felt numerous promises made to him were broken and never came to be. The Observer notes thing were originally supposed to be huge for Del Rio in WWE, and he was promised a main event push with Paul Heyman as his manager. The idea behind the push would have been to make Del Rio the next major Hispanic babyface star in WWE, replacing the void left by the departure of Rey Mysterio.

Early on, Vince McMahon reportedly treated Del Rio so well that the two would fly together and even sat next to each other on the company jet. But Alberto Del Rio’s eventual pairing with Zeb Colter, which was a Vince McMahon idea, was a mismatch for a number of reasons. When the pairing didn’t work, McMahon moved on to his next project in WWE.

The report adds Del Rio was always said to be a Vince McMahon guy, and Del Rio’s issues privately were with Paul “Triple H” Levesque. It’s being said, however, that if Vince really wanted Del Rio to be one of the company’s top guys, Vince would have worked hard to smooth over the issues between Del Rio and Triple H.
