Mister Saint Laurent, who has broken WWE scoops in the past, spoke about the Alberto Del Rio - Paige relationship with former WCW matchmaker Kevin Sullivan on the latest episode of "MSL & Sullivan" on MLW Radio.com. Check out the episode at this link. MSL revealed that WWE's Mark Carrano approached the couple and harassed them about being together. MSL said:
"Mark Carrano, who fans might know from Total Divas, kind of like the office liaison guy, approached Del Rio and Paige individually and harassed each of them about their relationship. It was indicated that the office wanted them to sever their romantic relationship."

MSL went on to say that WWE threatened to fire Paige if she did not split up with Del Rio. He said:

"A lot of people speculated if this was the reason [WWE] split them up in the draft and that's definitely what happened. The company did not want them together. They split them up in the draft by design and they threatened to fire Paige if she didn't break up with Del Rio."

As noted, Paige is currently serving a 30-day suspension for her first violation of the WWE Wellness Policy. She's also dealing with back and shoulder injuries. Del Rio is reportedly finished with WWE, after being unhappy over creative decisions for months now, and will be free to work anywhere imminently.

First they tried breaking up Lana & Rusev and now they threatened to fire Paige if she didn't leave ADR. Carano always struck me as a weirdo and this thing they have about who's dating who is ridiculous. It's surprising to me that they would have this attitude especially considering the shyt Trips & Steph had to deal with when they started dating.

I was the general manager at several underground mines. There was this new synthetic weed going around that wouldn't show up on drug tests. But you could tell easy as fukk these c*nts were high.

Underground mining is a fukking dangerous business and we couldn't trust that they would work safely and to procedure.

Lots of jobs have no work place relationships as an office rule. It can easily cause distractions and poor performance. Based on the WWE's past though, I really doubt that's the case. The neckbeards running the show are probably just mad because Alberto swooped in on the easy target

Even so. They're independent contractors. They also do have a history of this stuff. Didn't they run that awful angle last year in hopes of it splitting Lana and Rusev up off camera? Didn't it end with him getting punished more for posting the engagement picture, effectively killing the angle?
