it means you listen to it now & you go

if you put on an older album and go for various reasons then it hasn't aged well. the reasons could be that the rhymes are time stamped too much, the beats were too trendy (redundant chipmunk beats) or they had shyt like the obligatory House song on some late 80's albums. one by itself might not ruin the album but a combination probably will.
