Why would he say that:gucci:

I would be like

Yes i pulled yhe trigger on what i was told was a prop gun
:gucci:

shyt not my responsibility to assemble props nor perform maintenance

And i would sue all trying to sue me for inflicting agony and stress :unimpressed:

Along with the company responsible for the props:unimpressed:

Exactly!

He's making the same mistake that the armorer chick did in not shutting the fukk up. They're going to force the DA's hand in trying to put someone in jail if they keep it up at this point.
As I'm learning how lawyers work in conjuction of justice system.

That silence and no comment is crucial!

It's like playing spades

A prosecutor might find some weird way to create a narrative that you shared some liability off that statement.

It would be kinda funny if Donald Trump dressed up as Alec Baldwin on a movie set holding a gun and he posted the clip to Twitter

so he racked the slide while it was pointed at the person's chest?
the people shot were behind the camera....

he could have been racking the slide for a specific shot....

wouldnt make a difference anyway even if there was a person directly in front of him...

the armorer/staff fukked up

he was pointing towards the people behind the camera....
i can imagine the scene wanted to show the perspective of the person/people being shot at
they still wouldn't/shouldn't have been set up in the direction he was pointing, I've worked on sets for years now, they woulda just had them set up the monitors off to a diff area. The director and dp wouldn't be standing in the place of the actor being shot off cam, there'd either be no one there since he's firing a shot, OR there would be nothing in that gun and the other actor would just stand there so Alec has a reference on where his eyes should be looking.

IIRC the first story was that it happened during rehearsal which makes more sense because that's usually when people fukk around and play too much

the amount of safety measures they dropped the ball on here is ridiculous and not normal at all, a ton of non union/underexperienced people out there just mimicking the job without actually knowing the purpose behind said job is dangerous as hell in film :scust: i've see people lose appendages in person

dual responsibility, you don't point a gun at anything you don't intend on destroying least of all a actual firearm not a prop gun. they both are culpable,. alec knows correct hollywood protocol when it comes to weapons.

The one who should get the blame is the obvious inexperienced armorer chic who got the job through nepotism.. bytch loaded the gun, had live rounds on the set and handed the gun to an actor who don’t know shyt about guns and who didn’t know once handed the gun to make sure it’s safe and empty or got live rounds inside… Blame falls strictly on that armorer
