Not a bad point but i still see the completion accuracy numbers at a insanely high rate in these games and some from qb's who arent that good.

I think you have to at least have big play ability to win in todays nfl i dont think dink and dunk offense can win it all but well see.
It's turned into a specialized short passing league. These short passes are extensions of handoffs.

Flacco had 12 tds and 0 ints that why they won

But your right theyres no evidence that its passing league none at all:stopitslime:
can you find the post where I said this? :dwillhuh:

What I said is the Ravens defense stepped up and they ran the ball much better. 134 yards rushing a game, and thats including the 49ers shutting them down in the Super Bowl. They were at 150 a game in the AFC playoffs.

I was actually thinking of making a thread for this very same topic. It seems that defenses are starting to reign these QBs in a bit.

hmmm have to look deeper into that. seems like top QB's are battling injuries to their receivers

Brady has injured and young wr's

rodgers has injured receivers

Brees is having a good year

Romo is playing great
etc.. etc..

Nothing. The point is, getting most of the credit or being called a good qb for riding your teams defense over other qbs is the problem. Moreso those that think in that manner than To criticize Alex. Argue that till you're blue in the face my dude.

Is he getting most of the credit?I mean you gotta give him some don't you?but I've mostly seen him called a "game manager" which we all kno what that means lol...and he got called economical tonight during the pregame which I'm guessing means,he can win games and you won't have to pay him so much you destroy your team like Baltimore for a guy who ain't that great:ufdup:

If anything I'm not worried about these chumps because of Andy Reids unwillingness to run,and the fact he luuuhs trying to be clever....only a matter of time before he fuks the team over...what about Andy Reids azz gettin all the credit?and not the defensive coordinator, they barely mention em....I know Reid put it together but he's the offensive mastermind right:laff:? Reid being a fraud would be a better thread

I give him credit for winning games that don't require him to make up for his defense slipping

lol...I agree with the OP. There's going to come a time in the playoffs that's going to require Alex Smith to make plays downfield, longer than 15 yards, and he's not going to get it done. Sorry.

Can't even say this, they had these same factors last year and went 5-11. Dude deserves to be a starter in the NFL

What's funny is these same dudes who salt drop on Alex Smith was probaly cheerleading Teebow on some "all he does is win:krs:" shyt....oh if Alex Smith came out and gave credit to god for the win,you wouldn't mind:mjpls:?

Maybe dude got a pair of lucky socks or something but it really don't matter:heh:...his luck will run out eventually though...I'm still mad about how they did my QB Pryor last week:wow:...we got unfinished business after that shyt:ufdup:

Alex can throw 15 yds or more. It's the 25-30 yard mark where he has trouble at and even then he has made a few plays from there though it's not his forte. Him being noodle armed is a myth, his arm strength is a little above average, he just chooses the safe play more often than not.

You never know what could happen but they're playing well right now. What I do know is the 2 most important things when it comes to winning in playoffs are a Quarterback who doesn't throw interceptions and a great pass Defense. The chiefs have both of those

alex has an ok arm, hes just extremely inaccurate deep
Okay arm compared to who? What starting QB's right now is his arm stronger then? Andy Dalton. Carson Palmer. Anybody else?

His arm strength is clearly below average by NFL standards.
