:wow:
Just interviewed for a gig with Prodigy anyways. They got Pygmy Xenomorphs and immortality. I wonder what their financial outlook will be like in 2 years.

Alright I finally watched this. This shyt is fire :wow:

My only real gripe is that 100+ years in the future and all the slang, music, and pop culture references are from 100 years in the past is high key lazy writing. Also too many people surviving their first xenomorph run ins. That chicks brother should've been packed up like 3 different times and people on the ship outrunning it.

I also worry that they'll pull a lost and create a bunch of questions that they can't answer. Like octo-eyeball is easily the most interesting character on this whole show. Only thing we ever seen want smoke with a xenomorph was him and the predators which is wild to think about. He needs a backstory immediately. Streets need to know.

Breh, this shyt is great fukking television. Man, now I gotta go back and watch episode 1 to see if I notice anything. Morrow that nikka. He come off as a hard ass no soul dude, but this episode set everything up. He really doing all this because of love.

Eyebally that nikka too. Small as hell and he got heart. Going toe to toe with a xenomorph on top of trying to save the brehette from the ticks.

Eyebally the real hero on the show, :wow:
I want one as a pet :wow:
I guess this how the brehs that be going crazy over groot and baby yoda be :wow:
Whoever own the merchandising rights should make some eyebally merch.

The moment after Eyebally made the possessed engineer jump on the Xenomorph's back and BITE it in the right spot to avoid getting sprayed by acid, I couldn't help thinking "T Ocellus might end up being my favorite character by the end of the series".
Oh shyt, just saw this on reddit. Eyebally may just a fukking chaos agent. It was trying to distract the Chiz for Tick to attack her :dead:

I prefer MY interpretation, even if the show runner says I'm wrong :mjcry:

I haven't watched the latest episode yet and misread this as Chubb Rock.

*scenes of xenomorph and various aliens slaughtering everyone*

End credits:

Fred.

They can't make the technology and slang more advanced than the movie that was filmed in 1978 :ld: their hands are cuffed there.

Yeah but in the year 21-whatever, Reggie Jackson highlights?

You telling me demolition man and Idiocracy can but they can't? Best thing about writing for the future is you can literally make up anything.

...I'm saying a prequel to a movie that takes place just after can't have more advanced slang and tech than the movie that follows it :dahell:

You can kind of, sort of, excuse the anachronisms since this is a universe where both cryo sleep AND spaceships with relativistic time dilation exist.
So even though it's 2120 (actually less than 100 years from now), this is a world where there are SOME people walking around on Earth that have already been born in current days.

As for the Xenomorph:
I get the impression that the version of here is faster than the ones in the movies, but also WEAKER.
So it's more capable of mass slaughter of unarmed people, but one individual is more likely to survive.

I know what you're saying. Alien was on a ship/other planet. This is based on a future earth. Basing a story 100 years in the future and having people bound to things 100+ years in the past is lazy writing. We culturally evolve like twice in one decade so to be 100+ years in the future and nothing being different is lazy but I get it though. That's not relevant to what the story or situation is about.

So you're saying Alien (1979) had lazy writing because it wasn't futuristic enough to seem futuristic to people in 2025...
