I mean, honestly? Yeah. The fact that they have some of the most dangerous monsters in the universe totally unguarded where anyone can just walk right in is crazy. In Alien Resurrection there were multiple armed guards with big ass rifles right outside the door where the Ripley clones were in the tubes. So, there's actually precedent for it in the universe.

The base on this show is the most unguarded research facility of all time and the owner is a trillionaire

To be fair tho your example wouldn't count as precedence. Alien Resurrection takes place 200 years after this show. Mind you Alien hasn't even happened yet.

I agree that there should be more security but these are brand new specimens(including the Xenomorph) and nobody knows knows how outrageously dangerous they are yet

I've seen speculation online that her contact with the eyeball monster may have caused this. The scientists on the show mentioned that she already had trauma before they turned her into a hybrid.

I honestly thought the eyeball monster implanted something when it stuck to her hand

Her having “trauma” tho is a lil off ngl. Apple products shouldn’t be breaking like that

I think there’s a chance that gets retconned. I wouldn’t be mad about following a new protagonist’s story though
