In my world where Eyebally takes over Kavalier, Eyebally would get Kav's power and no one else notices he has been taken over. Think that could set up some interesting stuff. Especially with his synths(Kirsh/Atom) locked up so the two main ones who would be able to tell something is off are off the board. We then deal with Eyevalier grunting to subordinates and slowly learning to talk over the season. Eyevalier also learns how much power he truly has in the world with his new host being one of "The Five". Eyevalier has been shown to have incredible problem solving skills. We already saw how Boy handled the court meeting with Yutani earlier. Imagine they run it back again with Eyevalier crushing Yutani. Do w/e grandscheme you want for Eyevalier, season/series ends with Morrow/Kirsh/Lost Boys working together to kill Eyevalier after they find out Boy has been taken over .
It's kinda hard not to notice a nikka having a big ass new weird eye with all the obvious signs that his previous eye has been violently ripped from his head breh:mjlol:

Kavalier walking around looking like Uncle Ruckus and nobody supposed to notice?:pachaha:

So after the finale I saw a bunch of posts on line saying "I dont want to hear anyone say this is the Andor of *insert franchise here* of anything ever again".
I was like who the hell said that? I fukked with the show heavy at the start and even I wouldnt say that. I came to this thread and see ign and another reviewer were on bullshyt with that comparison :dead:
Reviewers have been out of touch shills for a while now so this ain't surprising

The show's quality is secondary they just like the "Rich people are bad and evil" messaging

You being entertained by AI art makes all the sense in the world now

No wonder you like this weak ass show:russ:

:umad:
Being able to have fun. and laughing at the little shyt, will always be better than spending 8 weeks crying over shyt that’s out of your control. You better dry your eyes and get to work on some fan fiction

That's the mistake some of y'all make. Ain't nobody "crying". I'm having just as much fun making fun of this bullshyt:mjlol:

I don't know how talking about the bad elements of something automatically translates to "he mad" "he crying" to some of y'all:mjlol:

These nikkas made a YA Alien show and nikkas supposed to not make fun of it?:mjlol:

And again you're entertained by AI art nikka you love fan fiction:dead:

I know that's the literal explanation, but it's such overly convenient and lazy writing, and it's stupid they'd put a child into such a powerful body and not have any restrictions. SShe's basically a god now
I don't think it's inherently bad that Wendy can control machines, my thing is why her? Why can she do it and not the other hybrids?

Now you could say "well maybe the other hybrids just haven't tried it" and I could accept that, but the show makes no attempt to make any of it clear to begin with. That's a flaw of the show's writing it just throws out so many half cooked and inconsistent ideas

Wendy could be a good character but is just another "chosen girl becomes God" trope that we keep seeing. It's interesting that nikkas started making Dany comparisons in here because she had similar character development issues. Her becoming the Mad Queen wasn't the issue, it was the half ass road they took to get there

I'm a big fan of the Alien movies. I enjoyed bits of this but overall it was disappointing.

They pulled from Ghost In The Shell, Jurassic Park, even Star Wars more than the Alien series itself, and it didn't combine in a satisfying way that made sense for me.

I don't think I'm gonna watch if theres a second season. They blew it.

You have to remember.

Ridley Scott is still involved.

Androids are now the focal point of the series.

David, the breh in Romulus, now Wendy and her team.

I would say they were always a big part of it, along with corporate greed. Plus in the movies they're actually well written. I don't think it would be easy to make a whole series of people just getting eaten by Aliens without it getting old very fast. The issue isn't the androids as much as the fact that the series stinks. Of course over a whole 8 episode arc, you have to add some new elements not pulled from the original movies, but they were doing too much. How about a bit more character development or showing amazing futuristic technology so we can invest in the world where this is taking place instead of just having some arbitrary plot beats happen like clockwork even if it doesn't make any sense.

If I was in charge of this series, I wouldn't have hardly shown the Alien until the 4th or 5th episode. Suspense is the whole entire key for this material. Even Aliens takes a while before you actually see the xenomorph. The shows not scary at all as a result, but thats also partly because I didn't like the characters. Who cares if they get eaten.

Timothy Olyphant and Adrian Edmondson did a much better job in their roles than this series deserves.

The 90s rock outros were a mood killer as well. The whole thing seems misjudged.

Naw, from Alien 1- 4 it was about Ripley vs The Alien with Yutani as background villains.

Ever since Prometheus the franchise has become about Androids with the Xenomorph now as a backdrop and just used to SELL TICKETS.

Ridley will probably have them insert David into the Romulus sequel.
