If only I had a dollar for each time that I've seen this thread in the rather short time that I've been here. This type of technology isn't going mainstream anytime soon. Also, :mjlol: at them saying that the savings in labor costs allows them to improve food quality; we all know where that money is going.

Every plant in this country is automized....baby boomers are retiring like crazy. The technology is nothing to fear...it's actually opening up a ton of new jobs. You don't have to be an engineer to operate a machine either...it's clean work with good pay.

At some point people have to understand that automation of low education jobs has to stop, just for the safety of the general public and health of the country.

silly....fear of change is silly and a waste of energy. You dont have to be a genius to be able to troubleshoot these machines...

Nah, job automation is going to happen anyway. Technology is improving too fast and we even have trucks and cars that drive themselves. Soon, that shyt is going to make millions of broke people and we gotta own businesses to even have money.

Not even the wealthy want to live in that world, trust me.

Automation is creating new jobs with higher pay....fighting change is a waste of energy. Embrace it imo...the path into automation isnt necessarily college either.

If it does, say goodbye to all low paying jobs. Job automation is here and if you don't own something, you gonna be broke and :rip:

Yeah people don't see this shyt coming. I really think fast food and most in store retail will all be automated in about 20 years. If us Black folks dont wake up that shyt is going to put a real hurting on us for real because we make a large portion of folks who fill those types of jobs. shyt bout to get real ugly.

Yeah,a nd that is why I advocate opening your own businesses, cause that will be the only way to make money in the first place.

You take a warehouse that employs 200 people and replace it with 10 operators, then multiply that 1000s of times. Doesn't take simple math to see the problem there.

If you don't replace the jobs you are eliminating then eventually you are going to reach a point where a lot of people are sitting around either relying on government checks or running up in your house.

You realize how many folks are retiring though? Jobs aren't being eliminated in manufacturing they're just changing...the amount of opportunity out there is huge. Baby boomers retiring and manufacturing coming back on sure...its out there and it doesn't require a college degree.

I think the wealthy would rather live in an automated world than one where they have to pay the people who works fast food jobs an actual livable wage. They trying to figure out every way possible not to pay these folks. Im actually shocked more people cant see this shyt coming.

It's really just that simple. Add to the fact that if people DO chase those higher level jobs, what happens? Wages go down because what was once a specialty is now a bit more normalized. It's like people running into healthcare because there is so much demand thanks to our increased population of people(mostly boomers) hitting old age. You only need so many people in areas. How are anyone supposed to get experience (fast food worker) to move up (manager) if the job that would groom them is no longer there? We flip flop industries and live in constant booms and busts which have worked for us thus far, but the world population is NOT gonna shrink without something major/catastrophic, and the rich people in the forefront will have most of the resources. :mindblown: We can't endlessly invent new jobs or sell each other Apps for smartphones. Someone has to be doing the menial work to keep the system moving, unless we go to communism outright. Capitalism is only your friend to a point, brehs.

Keep telling yourself that bruh. These Cacs give 2 fukks about the low wage people and if their is an option to streamline shyt and cut down on overhead then trust they will do it. These folks who run these companies are in this to make as much as money as possible and they will find ways to do so even if it means putting a shyt load of people in the unemployment line. Have they not pretty much shown us that already?
