The girl I spent 7 years of my life with, the girl I almost married, the girl I had a child and started a family with, decided to leave me under the understanding that she was only leaving temporarily, that she just needed time apart and that she had every intention of coming back.
In 12 days, it will have been one year since. I tried everything I could to rebuild our relationship. I went through a terrible depression, completely loathed myself, and had constant thoughts of suicide. I was coming close to making everything work out, completely turned my life around for this girl and our son so we could all be a family again. About a month ago, things greatly started to improve and she was even about to come back and were were going to be together again. Everything I had worked for in the last year was finally about to pay off, but in the end I ended up getting hurt once again.
Today I got my son for christmas eve and she came to pick him up after work. Having us all together made me feel so down, rather than being happy in that moment, all I could think about was how things will never be like this ever again. When they left I completely lost it. In an instant I went from being happy and content to feeling absolutely miserable. We started texting and she asked me what was wrong, so I told her.
She told me that I should start trying to date other people. It completely broke my heart to see that from her. For a year I held out hope that she still wanted to be with me, that she still loved me, that she wanted our family together again. She's pretty much telling me that I should move on at this point. I can't move on. I can't just let go of a 7 year long relationship. Trust me, over the last year I've tried as hard as I could to move on, to accept that she isn't coming back. Even if I wanted to move on, even if I tried, she would always be in the back of my mind. I could never love anyone else the way they deserve to be.
So now I will be spending christmas alone, one week later I will be spending my birthday alone, and then 6 days after that constantly reminded that one year ago that day I lost everything that mattered most to me forever. It was also 3 years ago today that we decided that we were going to get married. So that kind of makes this all sting a little bit extra.
I'm sorry but this song was going through my head while reading this.

Focus on making yourself better through what people in this thread have already mentioned. Working out, meeting new people, volunteering, etc. Think of yourself as a business. Businesses who have good reputations and put out high quality products can demand a very high purchasing price. Keep your reputation good and make sure you are high quality, and you can start getting attention from females much better than her.

If you a boss then you should know if you put your hands on a female they go to the cops with the quickness. My oldest brother got arrested for grabbing the wrist of his ex wife. With that domestic violence charge, it killed his chances of getting clearance for a goverment job he had lined up.

After looking at ol boy's facebook page my brother realized he do know him and used to work with dude. Even kicked it with my brother when they worked out of town together. He only lives 3 houses down from my brother. If dude lived out of town and didn't know she was in a relationship. then that is one thing. But he did know and lives pretty much next door. i wish that sohh site didn't go dead. i'd upload a post I made about a year or so ago about an ex of mine. same sh1t in this thread but without the kid. broke up with me around christmas time. i happened to talk to a female friend of mine at the time, she heard of the breakup and was on some "oh my god" type response. like what kind of a woman does that...during a holiday season. thats heartless. to make a long story short. the opportunity for payback arose a few months later and i ceased it. i prayed on this actually.
ol girl came back, i acted like i was gon make up with her. but on the days when we were suppose to meet, i'd tell her that i i'd be an hour late cause i had to break things off with the girl i was "talking to" when we weren't together. an hour would turn to two hours, and two hours would turn into the whole night. ex was blowing up my phone. cussing me out. saying she cant take it anymore. truest, please call me. where are you. lol

Alright then we on the same page. My brother is doing a little better now. Once he get his mind clear he can easily get revenge. All his babymama's friends been wanting to smash him. He showed me texts from her so-called best friends, begging to get down, promising they won't let anyone know. So I will just have to wait and see how things play out.
