As far as status is Him.....then everyone else.
As far as talent and actual rapping ability I honestly felt like Meek was one of the weaker rappers of his era (Reed, Cys, Haddy, Vodka, ect.). In fact I hated his guts and the fact that there was no reason his braids should look like that. I didn't start liking him til "I'm not a rapper" shyt had me like
He's coming into his own now and he knows his lane right now so hopefully he can improve within that.
As far as the new guys look out for Chill Moody and Pate both nice rappers.

However I also didn't mention the Tough Crew and they did similar things
But Much bigger & better in the late 80s-90s
