shyt is real in the South Orange ave, right before you hit Dover. One time in the summer we were chilling outside our house off south orange Ave in EO and we hear tire screech, looked over and it was a chase, had to be around 5PM, he was busting their ass though but that shyt not cool cause it somebody car they stole for that joy-ride

But as a whole the state of New Jersey is amongst the wealthiest and richest states in the country. Alot of millionaires and celebrities live in NJ due to it's close proximity to NYC the financial capital of the world.

Breh Essex County and Newark in particular is notorious for Car thefts



I would know, I grew up there and can remember being outside for recess in school and stolen cars would speed by the school everyday. it got to a point where we cheered and threw up the when we saw one.



Newark at one time was the car theft capital of the world, they even made a movie about it "New Jersey Drive"

You'd hear the car and then just know the cops were close behind. Always ran to the windows.

Depends.

If they take your car and it was locked and had no keys, it's long gone at some chop shop. Then, it was pros who steal cars for a living.

You have drug addicts who don't want to steal your car but break your window to steal contents of the car.

You have semi-pro thieves who steal the car and take parts off of it, but don't have connections to a chop shop so the car is left on the streets usually without the wheels.

If they take your car and it's found somewhere, you had joy riders who stole your car because you left the keys in it while going into the 7-Eleven rather than taking the 5 seconds to turn off the car and walk out with your keys in hand.

Gang initiations usually involves performing a criminal act. Car jacking may or may not be one of them.

Man someone broke in my wife car while parked outside a church in the suburbs. All that was stolen was some cleaning supplies.

What a waste of breaking the window.

Just for clarification When I say "car jacking" I'm talking about someone taking your car at gun point..

I'm not talking about a basic break in. nikkas is robbing people for their cars at gun point.
