Overrated players are always considered to be better than they actually were.

Pippen never finished top two in any mvp rankings. even during seasons when MJ wasn't playing. yet here you are saying he was considered the second best player in the league. :mjlol:

I GET IT, U WERENT THERE IN REAL TIME N THIS IS ALL NEW TO U

PIPPEN LITERALLY PLACED 3RD IN MVP VOTING THE YEAR MJ RETIRED .. EVEN GOT 7 FIRST PLACE VOTES

AND PLACED 5TH IN 1996.. WITH MJ ON THE TEAM!

MADE ALL NBA 1ST TEAM MULTIPLE TIMES, TOGETHER WIT ALL DEFENSE 1ST TEAM AKA TOP 5 ON BOTH SIDES OF THE BALL

CLAIMING PIPPEN AND PAU WERE ON THE SAME LEVEL IS THE EQUIVALENT TO SAYING LOU WILLIAMS AND KYRIE IRVING WERE ON THE SAME LEVEL .. ITS ENOUGH TO GET U LAUGHED OUT OF ANY BASKETBALL CIRCLE

So many players were better than Pippen in the 90s. And yet you saying they weren't and claiming i wasn't there :pachaha:

Barkley was >>>
Hakeem was >>>
Karl Malone was >>>
David Robinson was >>>
Shaq >>> Pippen
Including MJ you got at least 6 players who were unquestionably better in the 90s

And i would say Miller, Ewing and Drexler are arguable but pippen would get the edge over them slightly.

He was a top 10 player, not a top 2 player at any point in his career.

Super teams were formed to stop a 23 year old

We know how you Marjorie Taylor Mambas like to rewrite history :ahh:

And you dummies forget basic facts. Everybody in that photo was eligible for AARP.

If they were 26 and 28 years old like Bron and Wade were, they would’ve terrorized Bron for an additional 5 years :umad: Your mans may not have gotten his first ring until 2016 :umad:

Jokic is a “peer” because unlike Jordan, LeBron is still an elite player in his 40’s. As to why he is the GOAT :umad:

Jordan’s peer during his comeback was Jamal Mashburn and Cutino Mobley :mjlol:
This dumb ass African c00n living in China post this dumb ass shyt yet Jordan was doing way more at a younger age while Leabandon ship was running away forming Voltron teams and still not winning as many rings.

And the main advanced stat that favors Jokic is BPM, a stat that overinflates certain stats for centers so much that having a lot of assists as a big somehow reflects in your Defensive BPM and has noted mediocre defender Jokic at the top of that stat :russ:

The creator of the stat has had to fix it multiple times because of how it overinflates stats based on position, he even had to change how much rebounds matter for guards because that stat had Russ looking like the GOAT
In other words,

Analytics creators cooked the books for certain players so it matched their player biases. Just because Russ looks like the GOAT in 1 stat doesn't mean you change the equation so it benefits certain players and not others.

Maybe people shouldn't be using those analytics at all because there construction and updating were biased to begin with...

Its not necessarily that, its just that extreme outliers that don't necessarily correlate with the results the numbers would suggest could potentially expose flaws in certain calculations. The reason why rebounds were nerfed for guards is because we could see on the court and with other stats that rebounds from a guard don't really have some unique value since the bigs are still doing the actual work to help them secure the rebounds. If BPM is the *lone* stat that put Westbrook waaay ahead of everybody else, there was probably something wrong with the stat.

The cretaor of BPM even straight up said that defensive box plus minus is completely worthless because of the way the stats are calculated.

This is my exact point and you actually agreed with me without knowing it.

All of these analytics are biased in calculation. They are just biased in different ways. This is why peer opinions are so important. They have an innate feeling of the game that analytics cant explain. AND it's true to the game.

NONE of the old heads from 2010 and before believe in analytics. It's why Morey hasn't been able to win a Chip. It's why players say Kobe is the goat. Analytics says James Harden is a better player Kobe...

Honestly, analytics were a way for yts to remain relevant in the NBA circles

But that's the thing...all of the guys y'all are always worried about DO consider eye test an all that shyt, people have actually moved beyond all-in-one stats like BPM, PER, because they miss so much of what's going on besides finishing possessions. The popular advanced stats now actually require watching the games and having play-by-play data.

So LeBron MIGHT have stat efficiency, but he definitely DOESNT have accolade efficiency.

Interesting....
Lebron stats are based off coming into the league at 18 and having extra years to collect more stats than the average NBA player. :mjlol:

And he still achieved less than the GOAT, EVEN THO HE JUMPED TEAMS TO FORM VOLTRONS.:dead:

Lebron literally an underachieving crybaby.:mjlol:

That doesn't factor in defense or pace...

Prime Bron in the current era would probably average 32Pts/12Ast/9Reb on 55/38/70-75 with DPOY-caliber defense, and that's with me possibly selling his offense short because he'd be a point guard in this league.
Shoulda woulda coulda goat
