QBs are routinely given the highest salaries
QBs are the only position judged by wins and loses, the only position that tracks the wins and loses no matter what team they go to
The best athletes don't play RB anymore, that's not the NFL's fault, that starts with where coaches place their recruits in college.
Hitting a guy coming across the middle, though is most likely the best way to jar the ball out of his hands, is also a risk of player safety. I'm all for seeing big hits, but these are grown men running full speed at each other, I don't want to see anyone killed or permanently injured at the hands of playing "good defense."
You love the physicality of the sport, as do I, nothing wrong with that. I think football builds men, and teaches you how to compete and thrive in not only the game of football, but in life. Trust me, I love the game just as much as you do (I coach), but I also understand the dynamics of the NFL, and how players need to be protected.
