I'd of probably given it to Olajuwon in '93 for his two-way impact tbh.
Meh. I'm shaky on Dream.

DEFINITELY one of the greatest individual players ever. One of the most fluid and talented athletes ever...

But he lost in the first round A LOT.:francis:

Like 4 or 5 years straight with A LOT of those being sweeps:francis:

He was known for giving half ass effort a lot of the time too. It wasn't until his post-30 years where we saw him consistently play hard game in and game out.

A lot of people think Dream is underrated or not talked about enough. But they like to pretend eveththing between 86 and 94 never happened.

Curry
Durant
Lebron
Westbrook
Cp3
Dirk
Kawhi
You're on fukking drugs man.

Westbrook doesn't know how to help his team win.

CP3 is a fukking choker.

Dirk was fantasitc (I mean REALLY fantasic) but he can't touch Chuck.

Kawhi has scored 40+ 1 time. 30+ 30 times.

Chuck went for 50+ once, 40+ 26 times, and 30+ 249 Times:aicmon:

Its not even close.

Meh, in only his second season he was the best player on the Rockets and running through the Showtime Lakers like butter in the playoffs, taking another one of the greatest teams of all-time - perhaps the single season greatest - to six games in the NBA Finals. That team virtually imploded around him the immediate season afterwards with Ralph Sampson's injury and the infamous drug suspension(s) of Lewis Lloyd (and Mitchell Wiggins).

The Rockets still got into the Semis that year, losing to the Sonics with Olajuwon having a 49/25/6 performance the game they were eliminated. The following year they got bounced in the first round despite him putting up 37.5 ppg and 16.8 rpg on 57.1% shooting. He had some down years, but still won the rebounding title in 89/90, led the NBA in bpg in in 91/92, led the league in Defensive WS and DRtg every season from 1987-90. He had an injury plagued season in '91 and was in nasty with management during '92.

None of that has much to do with his case for '93 MVP anyhow, although he definitely became a far better leader and teammate heading into the 1992-93 season with the FO dispute settled in addition to improving his passing massively. He was dominant on both ends of the court and won DPOY while putting up 26/13/4/4 on 53% during the regular season.

The Suns were probably very fortunate not to see Houston in the 1993 playoffs as they had pretty much the same squad the following couple of years and still managed to blow 2-0 and 3-1 series leads to the Rockets in 94/95, the latter even with HCA and unlike 93, Kevin Johnson was actually playing healthy.

Iverson IMO, he's a once in a life time talent...tough call because they are two very different players and bring different things to their teams.

I'm a chuck fan too going back to the sixers days

The ones you bolded might be a reach as of now; except Dirk, legacy wise Dirk might be greater than Barkley
