I was just letting you know you were wrong.
You are entitled to your opinion. The oldest millenials would have been born in 82 since that was the first class of the millennium. The youngest imo would have been born in 92 since that would be the last class of the aughts.

Gen x is nikkaz born in the seventies oil and recession crisis.

Gen y is nikkaz born in eighty forward.
Before the boom of crack.

They try to lump gen y into gen x.

We are not the same.

Gen z are kids born in the crack era.
who have no cognitive attachment to an era without crack.
Millenials are their buzzword for anyone after that. In which the gen from the new deal.
to before the rise of baby boomer.
Where they lack disconnect. To the point.
they see us all as beneath their boot. Plus negatively because civil rights arose as well.

Gen y and gen z have severe disconnect to gen x.

When none of y'all lil nikkaz is gen x like that.

Gen y to gen z.
then millenials.

This whole try to lump us into one another shyt.

Is disconnected baby boomers trying to hide their hands. While they act as they was freedom fightera and marched. When they did not march. They was graduating from high school. Baby boomera were never george ever. My father's father my grandfsther was a george.
Baby boomers were never george.
When civil rights was passed down and were teen adults. That is why baby boomers have no leaders in any race. Simply because they rode the coattails and grasped the benefit of being of the age to benefit. From program changes from desegregation. to civil rights and never really fought or marched. Baby boomer the headfakes. Yet have more because they had all the programs and got to headfake a look to us. Simply because they had the beginning volley of program changes at their disposal.
Then allowed the previous gen.
to phase them out via age-ism and the recession in 1994. Plus lead to the eventual over turning of affirmative action. For the generation before them. Baby boomers the biggest aloof fakest gen ever. They ain't do shyt but benefit. They did not march fredom fight or we shall overcome frfr.
Do not believe that shyt. They were to young and not cognitive like that in general.

Baby boomers got in the pole position. From these changes because of the college draft rule. So affirmative action aided them more than any gen ever. As it allowed them free reign if qualified. To benefit the greatest.
From these changes and got majorly wiped out in the mid nineties original workplace recession. Which was handled via severance. If you had your degree or receipt. Or were of grade that illicit. A package in being downsized.. Plus allow the gen older from the new deal and after.
to revert back to the gold ol boi system. That predates us all.

I don’t have an opinion on this. I just go off the generally understood definition of General X being 1965-1980. Based on that, as someone born in 1980, I’m the youngest possible gen Xer. Im 41, turning 42 this year. So your comment that the youngest gen Xers were in their mid 40s is incorrect.

Gen y is nikkaz six years or seven years younger than me. Millenials are nikkaz who ten years or more younger than me.

Millenials completely different than gen y.
Like i said.

nikkaz lumped in gen y to millenials.
When they not the same at all.

Millennials, also known as Generation Y or Gen Y, are the demographic cohort following Generation X and preceding Generation Z. Researchers and popular media use the early 1980s as starting birth years and the mid-1990s to early 2000s as ending birth years, with the generation typically being defined as people born from 1981 to 1996.[1]

The breh can make more money and get out of debt if he applied himself. People don't realize that like companies track every dollar you have to too. You have to give your money a job it either goes to a need or a want or invested.

I graduated May 2009 as well. We knew how rough it was just to get a minimum wage job back then. People were working 3 jobs making only 38k a year, and was one emergency away from homelessness. Gen Y, if they graduated after 2006, was D.O.A. at the start. Gen X had 15 to 20 years of economic prosperity until the recession hit. Gen Y went through a decade of torture after college, and when Gen Z saw that, is when they started on the economic divesting of the general economy after the pandemic started. Even now in 2022, low paying jobs are still vacant and even illegal immigrants moved on from those places to do Uber Eats. Gen Z are the ones that stopped going to college, stopped tolerating BS from their employers, and straight up on kamikaze mode when confronting authority. At a time when baby boomers are 70+ and are exhausted from the workplace, retiring, all of this is taking place.

I feel like today’s climate is actually worse than 2009 because inflation is at the highest in decades as well as crime is rising. Everything has become more unaffordable while wages remain stagnant. Last year, many cities broke their all time homicide records (i.e. Philadelphia). People don’t play nowadays. Folks getting smoked in traffic is a normal thing now nationwide. :picard:Huge swaths of the country are pretty much lawless (i.e. San Francisco,
Portland, Minneapolis).

And these gig economy jobs are actually more exploitative than the shyt jobs. Uber doesn’t pay for gas, mileage or wear and tear on your car and provides no benefits and doesn’t tax your earnings so you have to pay a big chunk of what little you make back at the end of the year. And lobbyists are passing new laws to tax what little money average folks make hustling selling their own shyt with PayPal taxing anyone who sells more than $600 worth of shyt a year. All while Bezos and them pay zero taxes. The solution proposed by the elite to fix inflation is by taxing the working and middle classes... out of existence.

And it’s only set to get worse. I feel like America has been in a long term state of decline my whole life. America, as a whole, is run on credit. America is the world’s first post industrial nation. We don’t truly produce anything anymore. It’s highly probable that America is going to become a full fledged third world country in the near future. The looming threat of food shortages drives this point home. We depend on corporations that don’t give a fukk about us for everything. :why:We are completely at their mercy by design and that is not a good thing. But most people are too dumbed down from a lifetime of being dumbed the fukk down and to caught up in the rat race of day to day survival to see the big picture and it ain’t pretty. :ld:

He has to go back and finish his college degree. He may not want to at age 40 but he has to if he wants any chance to really improve his situation.

His marketing degree plus military service would net him way more than the 70k he’s making.

Bootstrap Coli at it again.
47K in debt with 2 daughters means 70K isn't much of anything.
i dont think you can be 40 and be considered a millenial.
At what age does Gen X starts? 60?
Millennials are 1980-95, Gen X is 1965-80 so the oldest Millennials are turning 42.
