Am I missing something? Is 50 Cent still relevant in the rap game?

Crushing the charts... Off hype. People saw him for who he was and they left. Rap career imploded and we witnesses an epic fall off.

Nah GRODT was damn classic.

In Da Club still bangs to this day and will forever be a classic song.

The majorty will disagree with you on this. u can't spin shyt that ALREADY happened and been documented.

Save that shyt for YOUR artist.

lol @ corny square then stanning Drake.

he fell off because Gangsta Rap is over.

Same thing will happen with EMO rap.

Unless you genuinely a MUSICAL GENIUS.

you will fall off. and dissapper.

50 got charisma that keeps him relevant when he really probably shouldn't be.

As far as 50 not being relevant.

Nas - Untitled (2008) - 600,000
BISD (2009) - 500,000

Now the numbers on his next album will probably be bad, but whatever. I personally couldn't care less about album sales, but I'm just pointing out that his last solo album sold about the same as Nas' that was released around the same time - and nobody is saying Nas is irrelevant.

why ya'll counting rappers pockets and not focusing on music?

MUSICALLY, 50 Cent is not relevant.
People are still checking for his music. This forum among others prove that. Just because you don't care about his music doesn't mean that nobody does.

Minus his relevant Classic Album, I would agree.

You cannot take GRODT away from him

Good luck though.

:lolbron:
who said I was taking anything away from him?

Dudes in here talking about selling water and headphones but can't tell me the last time they requested a new 50 Cent song in the club or on the radio.

His mixtapes were nothing special, but I've never really cared that much about his mixtapes. I figure they're not album cuts for a reason. They did have some nice tracks though.

BISD was fire though, anyone who disagrees is deaf. And it was the exact same quality/style of music that 50 has always put out - at least with the good tracks. It wasn't as flawless of an album front to back though and had a few weaker songs (mainly the female focused ones).

This shyt from 2 years ago is one of the best songs he's ever made.

This is from a year ago

I mean yea he's put out some weaker tracks (in part because he just puts out too much shyt - 3 mixtapes in a year or so is clearly quantity>quality). But the dude is still more than capable of making dope music. Anyone who thinks he fell of probably wasn't a real fan of his to begin with, because as a fan of other artists who actually have fallen off (Em, Nas), 50's music has really not changed much.

LMAO :russ:
BISD is the best album of the past 6 years
:russ:

I'm a street nikka from Detroit lmao, 50 always has and always get love up here bruh. White boys are the nikkas hatin on 50. The fukk is wrong wit u nikkas.
You say the majority of the internet is white, you know the majority of the net hates 50, but claim its nikkas doing that shyt lmao. You nikkas are lost
come on dog, im around street nikkaz all day, aint nobody bumping that trash down here, detroit nikkaz corny as fukk anyway, most of the black people on this site laughing at u and yo white defenders and u dont even know, they only have one white dude that dont like 50 on this site, i think onlyincali, and thats bout it
