I am aware, but this year was out of the ordinary...if you ask celtics fans or nba fans in general if they would want tatum/brown or jimmy, do u really think most would say they would take jimmy over them? Yes fans can be wrong. You are making my point on that. Imo they were wrong for wanting to trade those two picks for what could have been one year of jimmy (maybe it was two but he was headed to FA soon) But like i said coulda traded for butler and he coulda left also. (Who also has yet to win the chip) we will worry about tatum leaving when the time comes in 4 years. Im good with tatum/brown for the foreseeable future over have jimmy been here and left by now.

They got to the Finals in 2012. Russ got hurt in 2013, Ibaka got hurt in 2014(still got to WCF), Durant got hurt in 2015 and they missed the playoffs, Durant went 10-31 in a closeout game vs the Warriors or they would've gotten to the Finals in 2016 then Durant left to go join the team he choked away a 3-1 lead to.

Other than 'not get injured', what's the fix for that?
