Same. He's my #5, but Liquid Swords is my GOAT album of any genre.
He got the best Wu solo imo. I just he had better direction on his albums after Liquid Swords.

not controversial at all. as far as writing goes, many consider him the best in the group and one of the best ever

I look at it like this. I understand why folks say OB4CL is the best Wu solo album because it certainly is from the perspective that it reached more commercially than Liquid Swords & is all around phenomenal street record. However, GZAβs performance as an MC throughought Liquid Swords is one of the very best All-Time. He was UNREAL on that album as an MC.
