Typically, the reason you pay for something is to own it. I'm not really into, say for example, renting a home from somebody and them being able to just say "nah we're selling this shyt, get the fukk out". The people who brag about having 600 gbs of music, or have a large physical music collection probably like to own shyt... ownership decreases limitation. I never knew having something that's your own is some nerdy collector shyt... I thought ownership in whatever form was the goal.

So if you wanna rent shyt your whole life... you're grown? Oh ok.

I only stream because it's free.
Past that I can't stand Spotify not having certain albums like reasonable doubt or chronic because they are exclusive. Then you run into the problem of only clean versions like purple haze or underground kingz. Sometimes I can't find an album period...blew me away when I found multiple Ali Vegas joints on there.

I hate the change to streaming that's happening. I pay for Spotify to check out albums/artists before I buy. I don't use my phone to listen to music, I've got an iPod Classic for that shyt.

I'll stay forever by buying music and using my iPod.

You can get every song you want with wifi, just like you get them from iTunes, the coli or anywhere else except physical CD's and if the cost is your problem presumably the cost of buying the cd's, gas and on will cost more.

you don't have to download anything on Spotify unless you can't afford to have a better data plan, Apple Music is different because you can't play anything new that's not on your cloud already unless your on wifi.

i still carry one of these.
my lady pays for spotify and the only time i ever use it is if we are in a car and i haven't had a chance to download something yet that just came out.
there are mixtapes, loosies, freestyles, demos, and unreleased albums that never get put on up on spotify, tidal, apple, etc
real music heads know the deal

Google play let's you upload your own library, so real heads don't have to worry about anything.
