Am I the only one who's never played a Final Fantasy game?

I know this is a classic franchise but I never got the jrpg thing at all. I played some Zelda back the the heyday but that Final Fantasy sh*t was alwaysto me. Those weird characters and the turn base fighting

I haven't either. I would have played FF13 last gen but most people said it wasn't that good. Looking forward to FF15 and FF7:R though.

Nah. It depends on how devs handle it. There are also tons of action-rpg and half of them sucks

The style of the turn based system does the series in. There's turn based, like Golden Sun which is fairly rapid and immediate but the FF series had timers on characters on top of that, further delaying the combat with waiting.

man, i almost finished ff7 and struggled for months against sin (i think that was the name of that thing) in ff10
i've come to the conclusion that i'll never finish a ff!!

Played 3,5,6,7,8,12,&13

FF6 might be the GOAT imo
