I never liked New Orleans either.

I went pre-Katrina... horrible roads (potholes everywhere), smelled terrible, and trash everywhere. Had to buy some payless shoes just to walk around the joint.

Man I went there too pre-Katrina. Went to the Essence Fest years ago But overall the city itself was Wasn't too much to it outside of Bourbon Street. Plus alot of the locals I talked to wanted to leave badly and move somewhere else

new orleans is a very hood city, we dont have any big high end clubs, its all hoods spots really and if u aint from here or not with somebody who is i wouldnt suggest u go there. but if u coming for a event the club inside harris casino always packed(mardi gras, essence, bayou classic)

but on a regular weeknd down here nobodies on burbon or canal like that outside of white people or lil kids who cant get into clubs, but new orleans have huge DJ(like block parties), second lines and events every week, so its no shortage of shyt to do if u want to, i usually just chill by a bytch tho
